Dr. Alexandra Feliciano Aponte | Medical Director

Dr. Alexandra Feliciano Aponte is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Her passion is preventing illness by keeping people healthy. When she is not at work you will find her traveling. She has crossed both the Arctic and Antartic Circles and would love to talk your ear off about all her adventures. When she is not traveling you will likely find her in costume at historical events, volunteering in theatrical productions or attending them.

Wendi Askew, LPN | Practice Manager

  

Wendi earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in 2003 and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from East Tennessee State University in December 2024. She brings a diverse nursing background, with experience in pediatrics, allergy and asthma, cardiology, and family practice. Wendi also has nine years of management and supervisory experience. Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking and spends much of her free time at the soccer field cheering on her children, who play for the Chattanooga Red Wolves.

Hannah Thomas, FNP-BC | Provider

Hannah Thomas, FNP-BC, is a Tennessee native. She grew up in Knoxville, TN, where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan University. In 2013, she continued her academic pursuits at Tennessee State University, where she obtained her Master of Nursing degree and became a family nurse practitioner.

With a dedication to providing caring, comprehensive healthcare, Hannah comes to WellAdvantage with experience in both primary care and urgent care, allowing her to integrate her expertise to address a wide spectrum of medical needs.

Mesia Stone, FNP-BC | Provider

With almost 18 years of nursing experience, Mesia is a certified family practice nurse practitioner who previously specialized in vascular medicine. Her academic excellence is highlighted by a Summa Cum Laude distinction for her master's degree from United States University. Her extensive expertise makes her a valuable professional in both family practice and vascular medicine. As a nurse practitioner in primary care, she provides comprehensive healthcare services, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment. Mesia is committed to patient well-being and enjoys collaborating with other healthcare teams to deliver personalized and compassionate medical care.

Casey Baxter, NP | Provider

Casey received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Health Promotion and Nutrition from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She then went to work in the health and fitness field for 10+ years helping people improve their health through lifestyle. Casey received her Master of Science from Vanderbilt School of Nursing and is Board Certified as an Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and in Lifestyle Medicine. When not in the clinic she loves to be outdoors with her husband and 2 dogs and doing all types of fitness including cycling, yoga, and weightlifting. She also loves to travel and backpack!

Chloe Cottrell, PMHNP-BC | Provider

Chloe, a Chattanooga, Tennessee native, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. With a strong foundation in inpatient psychiatric settings, she has extensive experience with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and schizophrenia.

Driven by a deep passion for mental health advocacy, Chloe is dedicated to reducing stigma, promoting mental health education, and creating a safe, supportive space for healing. She believes in a collaborative patient-centered approach, partnering closely with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, values, and life experiences. 

Jamiee Cooper, MS, RDN, LDN | Dietitian

Jaimee Cooper is a registered dietitian and has been working in the field for eight years. Her passion for nutrition and wellness stems from her former Division 1 soccer player background. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011 with a bachelor's in nutrition and food science. Then, she completed her master's degree in family consumer sciences from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2017. She also did her dietetic internship with the same university in 2014-2015. Jaimee has experience in various areas of nutrition, such as behavioral health, eating disorders, eating disorder prevention, general wellness, and sports nutrition. She enjoys helping people achieve their health goals by providing individualized and evidence-based guidance. In her personal life, Jaimee likes to explore new restaurants and cuisines, play soccer with her friends, and spend time with her two dogs, Kona and Tillie. Jaimee's professional approach is to meet people where they are and create realistic, simple eating strategies that support their health.

Rhonda Wilson, LPCMHSP | Behavioral Health Counselor

Rhonda is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) credential and a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC). Her career started after graduating with her Master's in 2002, and she has been practicing in behavioral health roles since. Most of her career was spent working in a local behavioral health role. Most of her career was spent working in a local behavioral health hospital. She left her private practice in January 2022 and joined the Well Advantage team.

Amy Howard, LMFT | Behavioral Health Counselor

Amy Howard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been helping individuals and families since 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2011 and began her career in a residential facility soon after. Wanting to make a greater impact, Amy went on to complete her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lee University in 2017 and has been passionate about supporting clients ever since.

Over the years, Amy has worked in a variety of settings—residential programs, schools, private practice, teletherapy, and early childhood development. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and backgrounds and has particular experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, and challenging behaviors. Whether through individual, family, couples, or group therapy, Amy focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can grow and heal.

When she’s not in session, you’ll often find Amy singing along with fellow Swifties, cheering for her favorite sports teams, crafting, or spending time with her family. She believes life can sometimes feel out of balance, but with the right support, balance can be restored. Amy is dedicated to helping clients discover what that balance looks like for them and walking alongside them on the journey.

Angela Kruck, M.Ed., LPC-MHSP(T) | Behavioral Health Counselor

Angela received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling 2023 and is working toward full licensure as a LPC. With previous experience as a School Counselor, she enjoys working with clients of all ages. She grew up in Mt. Juliet, TN and moved to Chattanooga in 2017 to attend UTC . Angela's work is rooted in the belief that everyone has significant strengths, even if those strengths are sometimes hard to see. She aims to provide a non-judgmental space for clients of all backgrounds. Angela encourages clients to be who they are and take what they need during their time with her. In counseling sessions, clients are encouraged to have the floor to feel sad, angry, excited, empowered, and anything in-between without fear. In her personal life, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, hiking, climbing, and crocheting.

Becky Geren, PT, DPT | Physical Therapist

Becky Geren, a dedicated physical therapist, has been practicing since earning a Master's in Physical Therapy from ETSU in 2003. With a strong foundation in hospital-based outpatient clinics, Becky initially specialized in pediatrics and has since expanded her expertise to serve patients across their entire lifespan. After achieving board certification as a clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy in 2016, she furthered her education by obtaining a doctorate in physical therapy from Shenandoah University in 2020. Becky's mission is rooted in providing compassionate and creative healthcare to her patients. With a focus on empowering and encouraging individuals to regain their independence and mobility, she advocates for collaborative and holistic approaches to healthcare. Becky believes in meeting each patient at their unique starting point, working towards personalized goals to enhance functional mobility and achieve optimal outcomes.
